Ranch - Harsh conditions and poorer soil are no problem for this aptly named varietal. The shorter, stocky shape offers a lower fruiting canopy, and berries are produced on single stems. Earliest Determinate

Elderberries are semi-self-fertile, but for higher yields, it is advisable to plant multiple varieties.

All elderberry are sold with a minimum of 3 sticks with 2+ nodes each. Please see the photos for bundle sizes and examples of what you get.

Non-GMO Commitment: At Growing Farmers and The Farm on Central, all our plants are guaranteed non-GMO and not genetically modified in any way, upholding natural breeding methods and promoting sustainable gardening and farming practices.

Growing method: Grown on our Coop farms using natural growing methods, no chemicals used.

Still in the refrigerator. Don’t know how far apart, do I need a new cut? Is it too late?
On the positive, after watching videos I have now been able to identify the elderberries that are in the side of the road. I’m so happy!
How long from flower to fruit? I’m afraid that I won’t see them after the white flowers are gone

Hi there, thank you for leaving a review for our Ranch elderberriest. It is best to start them angled side down in small pots this time of year and place them in shade until they have rooted. You can then plant the rooted plants at least 4-6 feet apart. We're glad you were able to identify them and we're happy to hear you're enjoying them. From flower to fruit, it typically takes about 2-3 weeks. We hope this helps and please feel free to reach out to us with any further questions. Thank you and happy growing!

Thank you. 2 of the 3 cuttings survived and have new sprouts.

Hey there, Reba!

Healthy ‘sticks’ with buds

My ground was not ready when they arrived so I planted them in pots. They are up 2 inches and looking lush and green (of course we have had plenty of rain lately). Question: since there are 2 buds on each sprouting can I cut the clipping in half and plant 2 instead of 1 from each clipping?
