A mix of York and Ranch. These are two varieties that have done better in hotter, dryer conditions. York even will work in partial shade in very sunny California. We may sub Wylewood if we run out of York.

New to Elderberry?

Well, I am too. I ordered my cuttings and they arrived looking like sticks. I followed the simple instructions and they are THRIVING!!!! Little green sprouts coming from all the sticks! I started them in a pot until I can decide where to place them permanently. I am learning so much, in my older age, about working with what God provided! I'm loving the Kilpatrick teachings!

All 6 of the Elderberry bushes are growing nicely. All have leaves and look very healthy. Excited for next season and hope to have a small harvest.
